CMS has recently secured the works to supply and install a new 200mm diameter gas main serving the South Terminal at Gatwick Airport. The new pipe line will run for 150 metres across the roof of the Terminal to serve the International Departure Lounge below.
APRIL 1ST 2014
Work is well underway with the construction of the new gas main at Gatwick Airport. To date over 4 tonnes of new pipe work has been fabricated and installed.
MAY 12TH 2014
Installation of the new gas mains pipe work was completed today at Gatwick Airport. The next few days will involve stringent testing of the new installation, snagging and of course ensuring that the all important anti corrosive undercoat and yellow finishing paint are to Gatwick Airports high standards.
